LawBid up for National Award

Great news on our second birthday - we’ve been shortlisted for the prestigious Law Society Excellence Awards in Technology & Innovation coming up in London in October.

News came through as we were celebrating our second anniversary on the first of August. Happy birthday to us! The Law Society Excellence Awards are the ones every legal firm wants to win, so it’s a real coup to be shortlisted. It’s a double coup for us - because we’ve been shortlisted or the second year running.

LawBid has been making a stir in the legal services market right from the beginning. We have a string of awards and commendations from around the country, including Manchester's Big Chip technology awards earlier this year. We’re all about making it easier for the public to access legal representation and, at the same time, building business for law firms across the country.

The Law Society has recognised that LawBid is at the cutting edge of the industry. Law Society president Christina Blacklaws said: “To be shortlisted for an Excellence Award is to be recognised as being among the best of the best. All the firms who are shortlisted should be congratulated for the work they do day-in day-out to support their clients, many of whom are navigating complex and challenging legal problems.”

Winners will be announced at the Law Society’s Excellence Awards ceremony in London on 17 October. We’ll be there!
